“Preparing for what is the biggest race I’ve had the opportunity to compete in since October 2019, and what will be the new defining moment for every pro on the start line. This includes the big names of the sport that we used to refer to as the kings, as well as the new guys who have claimed the title of kings without actually earning the crown. This race is going to be the showdown. I don’t think anyone is leaving a stone unturned in their preparation, including me. Episode 2 of #SingleTrackToKona gives an insight into my altitude preparation going into Ironman World Champs St George. The first Ironman World Champs with altitude. The goal is to prepare me mentally for altitude rather than physically until I can get to Cedar City Utah in a few weeks’ time to acclimate.” – Braden Currie
